Breastfeeding friendly fashion wish list

Sharing is caring!

So I’m sure many of you will identify with me when I say that after 2 kids, my figure has been ‘updated’ but my wardrobe has not. I actually weigh less than when I got pregnant with my first kid but my figure is totally different, boobs way bigger, hips wider, stomach stretched. My figure didn’t change massively after my first baby but my second pregnancy definitely gave it that extra push into mom-bod territory. No shame though, I’m owning it! I’ve no issues with my new body (or at least I’m really trying not to), I’m just sick of going to my wardrobe and throwing clothes all over the floor in frustration because nothing fits or flatters me. It’s ridiculous to have so many clothes yet struggle to find something to wear – #firstworldproblems.

I’ve now been pregnant or breastfeeding continuously for 5.5 years and it is harder to buy clothes that are accessible but not frumpy when you are breastfeeding. I want Lena to be able to self wean so I’m expecting a couple more years of nursing at least.

Ted Baker is one of my favourite luxury brands when I want to treat myself but it can be expensive so I’ve headed over to new site Love the Sales to see if they had anything cute reduced.

Here is what is what I’ve found from the Ted Baker sales that’s on trend, mom-bod flattering and nursing friendly:
I’m in love with this red full front zip dress reduced to £99 in the sale (from £159). Perfect for a special occasion where you need to breastfeed or express and in no way does it compromise on style or sexiness.

This zip front dress dress is reduced to £119 (from £199) – smart, on trend but totally nursing/expressing friendly.

This cherry print pussy bow tie shirt would be great for dressing up or down, and suitable for work or play. I would just wear a nursing vest under it and then lift up or unbutton for nursing with ease. £55 (reduced from £99).

Then finally, this technicolor bloom t-shirt is a really versatile piece that can be dressed up and down and will work through all seasons. Simply pop a nursing vest underneath and it will work great for ‘one up, one down’ breastfeeding. Was £59 now £35.

Have you got any bargains in the sales lately that you can breastfeed in? Let me know in the comments.

If you have enjoyed this post then I’d love it if you followed me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so you never miss another post.
